D – Camillo de Vito – Lita Albuquerque

The most evident connection between the two works is created by the verticality of the pictorial composition, the dominating element in both scenes, almost as if to form a triangle with the tip pointing upwards. The base of this triangle appears to widen towards the bottom, to underscore a foreground where the chromatic shade is, however, blurred. The verticality is more and more accentuated towards the top of the composition, which becomes narrower towards the top, which consists of an explosion of light. The vertical character is underscored by the central ray of light which floods the scene and makes the eye focus on it, evoking an explosion of pure energy
