The marks of our time

Traces of a passage: the individual and collective history that we contribute to form with our passage on earth.
Every human presence marks a transition on earth; it creates a footprint that it leaves behind : the step is never amorphous or useless : everything retraces our history and even small individual stories contribute to forming the Great Collective History.
We leave footprints behind us that others are bound willy-nilly to pick up and retrace, reworked and revised.
What do we leave behind us on the planet? What do we want posterity to remember about us? As a community or as an individual: what are we giving to history: what legacy are we leaving behind?
It is not just technology that we are leaving behind, but rather a sign of the times from an intellectual, cultural, moral, affective point of view…. a glimpse of the present projecting into the future.
Sense of precariousness, instability, loneliness and at the same time a desire for connection, solidarity, empathy.
